Rip Curl Pro WQS Super Series
The Rip Curl Pro, traditionally celebrated in mid-August, is the unique “Super series” event on the professional ASP circuit, the flagship round in the world surfing tour.
Limited to 144 surfers, it attracts not only WCT circuit stars (wanting to stay among the international elite) but also the best of the WQS and in particular the Europeans impatient to get on the Dream Tour.
In 2004, the Rip Curl Music Festival was added to the event. It presents the rising stars of the European music scene for 3 days of festivities.
In 2006, Rip Curl hosted the group Patrice and even Dub Incorporation with over 8,000 spectators on the Place des Landais: never before seen!
